GOBI MANCHURIAN
Gobi manchurian is an Indo-Chinese recipe. It is mainly cooked by Indian street food shops. Gobi manchurian consists of crispy coated fried cauliflower florets which are then tossed in a sweet and tangy manchurian sauce. Gobi manchurian can be dry or crispy or with a gravy or sauce. Among dry and gravy variants of it, dry one is widely preferred due to it's versatility as a snack that can be served as starter. Both varients are prepared by using common ingredients like cauliflower, cornflour, spring onion, chilli sauce, ginger garlic paste, capsicum, soya sauce etc and has a garnish of spring onion. You can also make prepare it at home.
The ingredients required to prepare gobi manchurian are:
2 cups cauliflower, cut into pieces.
Oil to deep fry.
To prepare the batter you need:
5 tbps maida/paain flour
3 tbps cornflour
1/2 tbps red chilli powder
A pinch of sault
Ginger garlic paste
About 1/4 cup of water.
For preparing the sauce all you need is:
3 tbps tomato ketchup
1 tbps green chilli sauce
1 tbps of soya sauce
3 tbps vinegar
1 onion chopped into fine pieces
4 cloves garlic.
